…revitalize the middle class economy?

WARSHINGTON, D.C. [ Story : WSJ ]  It sounds like the setup for a joke.  It’s not.

It’s an entire joke.

Barack Harold Obama needs Joe Biden to stay out of his hair.  Tired of relentless pant leg tugging and being deluged with insipid pleas of “NOW what’cha want me to do, Barack?  Huh?  NOW what’cha want me to do?”, His O-liness told Biden to go off in a corner and keep himself busy solving the middle class economic crisis.

“By golly, I’ll do it!” Biden proclaimed, puffing out his chest and straining his Wonderbra.

And so, our VP set forth and did what any government official does when charged with an important task.  He did something expensive and ineffective.

He built a website:  www.astrongmiddleclass.gov

“Of course!” the blue collar masses slapped their foreheads in country-wide unison.  “THAT’S the answer to our financial woes!  A website!  Thanks, Joe Biden.”

If all it took was an online presence to effect social change, then I and the other 47 gazillion libertarian/conservative types who rant in our blogs every day would be living in a friggin’ Utopia by now.

You’ll know we’re there if you ever hear the phrase “Barack who?“…
