[JG] Her anti-DDT politicking killed some 50 million people, but Wisconsinite Lorrie Otto had good intentions, so she’ll be remembered fondly.

Okay, maybe the scores of men, women, and children who died horrific deaths from malaria, yellow fever, or the West Nile virus won’t remember her fondly. Or at all. They’re… you know, dead.
But the important thing is that a bushel basket of robins didn’t die, and for that, they’re grateful– wait, no they’re not. They’re birds.
In fairness, Lorrie Otto was a staunch defender of some property rights, standing up for landscaping sovereignty, and I sincerely salute her for that. I have the luxury of being able to do that, since her legacy hasn’t killed me.
Not yet, anyway…
