Obama: Vote for Me and I'll Give You Five Billion Dollars

MILWAUKEE, WI [ LINK : JSOnline ] This beats the snot out of the Gore campaign’s “free cigarettes” bribery scheme, though it’s nowhere near as ironic.  Face it, Al Gore handing out smokes is like Bill Clinton handing out chastity belts.  To say the least, it goes against their character (or would, if they had any).

And in fairness, Obama’s just blowing smoke up our ashtrays.  Al’s people delivered.

Promising to spend billions of dollars on “restoring” Lake Michigan (no wonder it’s so expensive… gotta be a b*tch to paint it) isn’t much of a sales pitch. In fact, any campaign slogan that isn’t: “I’m leaving the Democrat Party”, is unlikely to win me over.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Barry won’t get my vote.  In Wisconsin, anybody can walk into my neighborhood polling place, proclaim themselves to be me, and cast a ballot for Scooby Doo, Elmer Fudd, or some totally outlandish fictional character, like… well, Barack Obama.

Wisconsin’s two-star Attorney General is trying to put a stop to voter fraud.  This is quite upsetting to the people who commit voter fraud.  They also get upset when rude, obnoxious right-wingers like me point this out.  Like calling a fat guy “fat”… it’s true, but they still don’t want to hear it.

In fact, the left will deny that they are the perpetrators and beneficiaries of voter fraud, yet they are the ones who scream the loudest about efforts to STOP illicit voting.  Lemme axe you this:  If the government moved to curtail yodeling, who would lead the protests?

Yodelers, that’s who.  And that’s precisely why Wisconsin Democrats have their lederhosen in der bunchen.  The bottom line is this: if Wisconsin reverts back to that quaint, archaic “one man, one vote” system, it’ll cost Obama votes.  But if we DON’T fix the system, it’ll cost us ALL.  How much?

Well, five billion dollars.  And that’s just to paint the lake.  The total price tag for an Obama presidency will run into the trillions of dollars.  Which means that, at the end of the day, the Democrat party is going to steal a lot more from us than votes.

Dammit, now I’m all tense.  Where’s Al?  I need to bum a smoke…

Funny, I was under the impression that Republicans spent our money, too…

The left doesn’t hold a monopoly on tax-and-spend, I’ll grant you.

But I’d be hard pressed to find any fiscal conservatives on that side of the aisle of the caliber of any RLC candidate, that much is certain…
