Anchors … AWAY!

It’s a move that will either rock the White House, or at the very least, make mowing its lawn lots more expensive: the GOP is moving to close the “Anchor Baby Loophole” in the 14th amendment.

Obama IS an anchor, baby

This is unlikely to affect any current citizens who were naturalized by birth, including our own Anchor Baby In Chief, who was born to foreign nationals living in the small Hawaiian village of Mombasa.

It would appear they’ve rejected my idea: change the law so that anybody who gives birth in your house is automatically entitled to 1/3rd of your estate. The homeowner, in turn, is now liable for the expenses of their new family member. This would allow the proponents of spontaneous naturalization to put their dinero where their pie-holo is.

You may hear otherwise from my side of the aisle, but the complaints from the Democrat Party ARE legitimate: depriving our shores of the uneducated, the illiterate, and the desperate WILL cost them votes. That is, after all, their primary contingent.

Well, that and prisoners. But, I mean, toe-MAY-toe, toe-MAH-toe.

It seems that ANY time the Constitution is interpreted in the way it was actually written and intended, it turns out badly for those who are the most averse TO it. Those are the same folks who insist the Constitution is a “living, breathing” document.

They only WISH it were, so they could actually kill it…
