Scaling “First Class” delivery back to three business days (and eliminating Saturdays) means a letter sent from Manitowoc on a Thursday night might not reach Two Rivers until the following Tuesday morning. You could ride a horse there quicker.
Hell, a horse could ride YOU there quicker.
Face it: between online billing and Fed-Ex / UPS for package delivery, the United States Postal Service is quaint at best, and an expensive, anachronistic boondoggle at worst.
Time to hang it up, Mr. McFeely…
