Milwaukee, WI [JG]  Being a cop is a tough job.  I’m glad other people do it.  I don’t want to and, to be honest, I probably couldn’t.

Likewise, being a roofer is a tough job.  I’m glad other people do it.  I don’t want to and, to be honest, I probably couldn’t.

I don’t blame either guy for wanting to knock back a drink or three after work. They earned it.

But neither person should suffer more than the other for any drunken mishaps that occur on the ride home.  Unfortunately (and unsurprisingly) area judges have their thumbs on the scales of justice:

This double-standard has to change.  I should probably say “This double-standard SHOULD change” because “has to” implies that it will.

And it won’t.  Equal protection under the law disappeared generations ago…
