Wisconsin Senator Russ Feingold, who has accepted over a half-million dollars in contributions from MoveOn.org to help him fight against special interests’ political influence, has secured the all-important Darth Vader endorsement.

Vader (who, like Russ, prefers to be addressed as “Lord”) joked that Feingold’s conviction to destroy the country was “a step in the right, or should I say: ‘left’, direction”, after which, reporters were strongly encouraged to laugh.  He then left with an entire case of Feingold bumper stickers which he planned to use to cover “an ugly vent hole in the Death Star” (a Subaru) that had been bothering him lately.

Look for the new Feingold campaign ads featuring Darth Vader to appear on Feingold’s web site or on his television station, Channel 4 in Milwaukee…
