Packers’ Finley Robot Defeats Humanoid Bears

Chicago, IL [JG]  Fan worries about the reliability of the Packers’ new Jermichael Finley robot were laid to rest as the bionic tight end ran roughshod over the struggling Bears at Soldiers Field*.

*I know, I know.  I just like to see ‘em wince when I call it that.

Bears' defense tries to unplug Jermichael Finley robot

Chicago Bears safety Craig Steltz tries in vain to unplug the USB cable that powers the Packers’ bionic Finley robot.  A wireless version is expected to be rolled out by the playoffs.

Bears’ coach Lovey Howell remarked that she found the idea of an entirely robotic team appealing (quote) “…because then I could pull the plug on the whole bunch of ‘em!”

The league, you’ll recall, came to accept robotic involvement in the NFL when it was discovered that Packers’ General Manager Ted Thompson was not really stoic and off-putting, but that he simply had a USB stick up his ass…
